The Intelligent Investments Academy

Intelligent Investments was established with the central aim of being a regulated company in an under regulated jurisdiction, building the foundations of our reputation on the professionalism, honesty, and integrity of our people.

Due to our unique approach, we've grown throughout South East Asia and beyond, and looking to meet the increasing demand for our services we've found it challenging to find individuals within the industry who make the grade.

Therefore, we've decided to establish the Intelligent Investments Academy, offering formal training, including qualifications from the UK's Chartered Insurance Institute, enabling graduates to develop a stimulating and rewarding career within the industry with Intelligent Investments.

The process

    • The first step of the process is for potential candidates to send a complete CV to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .  An Economics, Finance or related degree would be an advantage however since we provide ongoing training and mentorship, we encourage candidates from a variety of academic, ethnic and social backgrounds to apply.
    • The second step will entail suitable candidates being selected for three rounds of interviews, either conducted in person or as a phone/ skype interview.
    • The third step will require candidates to sit and pass the CII Financial Adviser International Qualification. This entry exam shows a commitment by candidates for the investment both in terms of time and money by Intelligent Investments in their career development, and is a basic requirement for a work permit.

Successful candidates will then be provided an offer letter, detailing the training and support they can expect, including comprehensive orientation upon arrival (both in terms of the industry and living in a different country), examination costs covered by the company (including the CII FAIQ and further professional development), mentorship, expat accommodation, and a return flight home.
